Warm ups

Self portrait of sorts.  Rekindling my love for gouache, a medium I've been neglecting.  I have come to realize that different mediums evoke different color pallets for me.  I am not sure if this is a good thing or just lazy craftsmanship.  Gouache and watercolor have saturated colors on top of warm neutral colors.  Where as my oil pallet is a bit more subdued.  I'm not sure if this matters to anyone, but maybe you share the same experience?

Thanks for looking, there is always room to get immensely better.

Second piece in the series. Dealing with winter anxiety and the feeling of being overwhelmed.

The boys from The Classless (Indianapolis) asked me to work on their album cover and allowed me to do whatever I wish. This is what I have come up with.
